Looks like it is time to invest in a quality set of hex wrenches. Regular and ball end sets. I have researching but you just don't find a lot of reviews for wrenches on amain.

I wanted to get some input from some seasoned users of higher end tools before I sink money into another set of tools. My biggest problem is I keep stripping the 2.5 hex on the motor mount screws.

I have stripped a few others but this one seems to be my biggest problem. I am looking at possibly buying a set of Integy. I thought about buying some Huddy drivers one at a time when I can afford them. What do you guys use in your boxes? My two favorite brands of hex drivers are MIP Throp drivers and Hudy drivers. Those in my opinion are the best I have seen and it seems many members on here agree. Or course they are expensive compared to other but as long as you use them for what they are meant for and not pry bars they will last basically forever.

The MIP Thorp drivers don't have replaceable tips, but like I said, if you use them for what they are meant for they will last forever. Members have posted 10+ years old Thorp drivers that almost look brand new.

Here are some wrench drivers I would recommend in different price ranges you may have. Some prices are in Canadian dollars and US Dollars. (Most will only include either Metric or Standard sets. So double the price if you want both Metric and Standard.

Also make sure the sets listed have the sizes you need.) $10-$20 Dynamite 5 piece Hex Set METRIC STANDARD SINGLE DRIVER - For the price there is nothing better in my opinion. The tips are not replaceable and have a plastic handle.

Thorp

I have had a set for 1.5 years and are still in good shape. They do wear faster then the more expensive drivers, but still work great. Drivers can be bought one at a time so you can save money and buy only the ones you need and not pay for the ones you don't need.

$30-$40 Dynamite Hex Driver Set METRIC STANDARD SINGLE DRIVER - Good set for the money. Tips are replaceable and have a metal handle. The hobby shop I worked at have been using these for a couple years and are working great. Drivers can be bought one at a time so you can buy only the ones you need and not pay for the ones you don't. LOSI 4 Piece Driver Set METRIC STANDARD SINGLE DRIVER - Good Hex Set. Drivers have replaceable tips and metal handles. Drivers can be bought one at a time so you can save money and only by the ones you need and not the ones you don't need.

$40-$50 Team Associated Factory Hex Driver Set BOTH METRIC AND STANDARD SINGLE DRIVER - These were one of the first driver set I have bought. They include both metric and standard so the price goes up a bit if you were to just by one or the other. Drivers are good. I compare these to the Dynamite drivers listed in the $10 to $20 but have replaceable tips and have a metal handle. You can also just buy one driver at a time and maybe save money if you only have to by the ones you need.

HIGH END BUDGET MIP Thorp Drivers - Awesome Set. The drivers have to be bought one at a time and are about $14 each. This can be bad and good. You can buy only the ones you need and save money not buying drivers you don't need.

But, if you end up buying all then it can work out to be a little higher cost. HUDY Hex Driver Set BOTH METRIC AND STANDARD Single Driver - Awesome Set. One of the more popular sets of tools members have used on this forum. Tips are replaceable and handle is metal. You can also buy these one at a time to save money and only buy the ones you need.

These are the drivers I would recommend that I have used. Others members may have recommend others that I have not used. Looks like it is time to invest in a quality set of hex wrenches. Regular and ball end sets.

What do you guys use in your boxes? Thanks,Dude just invest in a set of Snap on or blue point hex drivers, they come with a life time warranty.

Forget the hobby ones they dont last. Go for Hudy, and your set. If you want good tools only buy products made in america and europe and they will never fail your. For regular screwdrivers and pliers try cetaform been using them for years.

Thorp Hex Drivers For Mac Free

The tips on the drivers are brand new and the pliers line up perfectly from top to bottom. Never skimp on your tools, cause you can buy a cheap hex wrench ($10) and have it strip out screws and cost you a fortune in screws and new tips or get a decent on (HUDY $20) and you will never strip a hex head or a screw.
