Gents, Upgraded my Phantom Vision to 1.08 but the assistant software is not working at all for the remote. I have an older remote with the USB port inside. Popped it open, followed the directions and plugged it in - it will not connect to the assistant software.
Now I'm concerned I have a misalignment between the remote and Vision. Any help here much appreciated.
Not flying until I'm comfortable his has been resolved:-/ You have to upgrade the RC Tx with the windows software. The Rx you can upgrade with Assistant.

Yes, this is the main reason most people chose to try the upgrade. And since the upgrade seems to fix the issue, DJIs claim that it was a hardware problem and not software is busted. They even recommended people on RCG that complained about the drift, to go and buy a new v2 to fix it. All in all, they don't much sympathy they way they have handled the situation.
And instead of admitting it is a software issue, they get the thread on RCG closed through legal threats. I don't have a Lite myself, but I would have no problem upgrading it to v2 firmware to fix it if I did.
